Local food phenomenon Bross, has been serving up Montreal style bagels to the people of Edinburgh and beyond since 2017. St James Quarter is home to the very first Bross Deli – and Edinburgh’s first ever Jew-ish deli of its kind. Bross Deli presents a truly unique concept, taking the brand beyond bagels, to introduce all-day authentic Montreal deli dining to the city of Edinburgh. Locals and visitors to Scotland’s capital city can enjoy early morning bagel breakfasts and bountiful brunches, to late-night noshing boards served up with beer, bagels and beats. Menus at Bross Deli showcase a modern take on traditional Jewish cuisine in a unique culture clash of founder Larah Bross’ background, her experience living in New York, and her passion for locally sourced Scottish ingredients. Visitors will find their favourite hot and cold deli fillings, slathered on bagels, signature rye, or challah bread, alongside modern takes on classics such as Matzah Ball Soup, Loaded Latkes and a Scottish twist on the Knish – The McKnish. Bross Deli also offers a dedicated kids’ menu and presents a wealth of vegetarian and vegan options. Comfy classic diner-style booths, bar seating, a bustling open kitchen and a deli counter, all combine to transport guests straight to the delis that grace the streets of Montreal or New York.
