APPLY TO BE OUR CHARITY PARTNER
Here at St James Quarter, we have worked with local charity partners since our launch in 2021, to raise awareness and funds used locally to support our wider community.
We are now looking to appoint a new ‘Charity of the Year’ to partner with from July 2025 – July 2026. Charities operating in the Edinburgh area are invited to apply to be our Charity of the Year, our new charity partner will benefit from marketing support, activation spaces, quarterly events and volunteering to help their mission.
The application process has two stages.
Stage 1 – Notes of interest should be submitted via email to csr@stjamesquarter.com no later than 23.00 on Monday 12th May 2025 including the following:
- Charty name
- Charity registration number
- Where your charity is based
- A short description about your charity (100 words)
- How much does your charity raise annually? (please give an approximate amount based on 2-3 years)
- Why would you like to be a St James Quarter charity partner?
Notes of interest will be reviewed against our suitability criteria by our CSR Committee. Shortlisted charities will be invited to Stage 2 – Formal Invitation to Tender by 16th May with a final submission deadline 9th June at 5pm.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) vision is to make a difference (for the Edinburgh Community) promoting the values of; being present, creating impact, for everyone, and doing this with pride.
Charity Framework
- The Charity must be active within our community
- We require a dedicated Resource, or partnership manager
- We will have 1 main Charity Partner
- We will work with our Charity partner for 1 year
- We can use some of the overarching CSR budget to support
- We will meet Quarterly, and as required
- Our minimum fundraising, in-kind & volunteering total Target is £10K
- We will offer Marketing support, digital directories, socials, email footers, Space/platform for activations, volunteering, Quarterly fundraising event, assistance when required.
