Game on Gold Coin Quest

To celebrate the launch of its new exhibition, Game On, the National Museum of Scotland is hosting its very own gaming quest in the Quarter on 13 & 14 July!

Simply visit the Quarter over the weekend and join the treasure hunt to find one of 40 ‘gold’ coins hidden around the Galleria, shops and restaurants. Find a gold coin to win prizes which include tickets to the Game On exhibition as well as St James Quarter gift cards and great experiences from brands including John Lewis, Gordon Ramsay Street Burger and Lane 7.

Taking place at the National Museum of Scotland from 29 June – 3 November, Game On is the world’s largest interactive exhibition about the history and culture of video games.

From Space Invaders to Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario to Minecraft, you can play more than 100 iconic games produced over the last 50 years. Test your skills on ground-breaking and popular arcade, handheld and console games, go head-to-head with family and friends in all-action multiplayer games, rediscover nostalgic favourites and explore the latest technologies and new releases.
