Hidden Door Preview

Ahead of Hidden Door, we’re hosting a pop-up performance on Saturday 7th June!

Hidden Door is a unique Edinburgh arts festival taking place in unusual, forgotten urban spaces. Last year, Hidden Door celebrated their 10th birthday with an immersive underground celebration here at St James Quarter.

For 2025, Hidden Door is taking over The Paper Factory, a huge industrial site in west Edinburgh, for 5 days of live music, visual art, immersive pop-up performances and special events from June 11th – June 15th.

As part of the preview, Hidden Door will showcase some of the amazing talent from their programme including live music from Puppy Teeth, an independent Edinburgh-based band who have been making waves across the UK. The band has been described as heady, dreamy, 90’s melodic and were picked by Hidden Door as part of the local music programme.

For dance fans, Yuxi Jiang is an Edinburgh-based dancer, choreographer, and creative director with over 15 years of experience. Trained at Beijing Dance Academy, she bridges Eastern and Western movement traditions through interdisciplinary choreography. Since 2022, she has collaborated with major Edinburgh festivals and created award-winning dance films screened internationally. Yuxi will be performing at Hidden Door as part of the dance programme, premiering a new collaboration 12th June.
