Seafood Supper Clubs

St James Quarter is presenting foodies with a completely unique and unmissable experience as part of this year’s Edinburgh Seafood Festival, with the return of its Seafood Supper Clubs.

Taking place in the state-of-the-art kitchen space in Miele’s Experience Centre, guests are invited to enjoy an expertly curated seafood menu from two of the city’s leading chefs, in an intimate setting.

To kick of the Edinburgh Seafood Festival weekend, join Chef Paul Wedgwood for an six course seafood tasting menu with wine pairing.

Award-winning chef patron, Paul Wedgwood is one of Scotland’s leading chefs and restaurateurs, his creativity and love for Scottish produce is second to none, and he was named Scottish Excellence Awards Chef of the Year 2023.

Since opening his eponymous restaurant in 2007, Wedgwood the Restaurant located on the Royal Mile has been at the centre of Edinburgh’s thriving hospitality scene. The restaurant serves seasonal, innovative, and creative Scottish dishes with a focus on foraged ingredients in a contemporary yet relaxed setting.

This event offers a completely unique opportunity to experience Paul’s culinary talents in an intimate environment. Paul will prepare a menu that champions the very best of Scottish seafood, with each dish perfectly matched with wine selected by the expert sommeliers at Cloudy Bay.

Chef Roberta Hall-McCarron – Saturday, 4 May, 18:00 – 20:30

Experience a true taste of Scotland’s natural larder with a specially curated seafood menu and wine pairing by Chef Roberta Hall-McCarron.

Working in professional kitchens since the age of 16, including Michelin-starred The Kitchin in Edinburgh, Roberta opened her first restaurant, The Little Chartroom in 2018, followed by Eleanore in 2021. Both Roberta and her restaurants have received several accolades for their culinary excellence; Roberta proceeded through to national finals in the BBC’s Great British Menu in both 2020 and 2021, she was also named Breakthrough Chef of the Year at the Food and Travel Awards and Squaremeal’s Female Chef of the Year in 2023.

Roberta’s cooking is inspired by childhood memories of sailing the Scottish coastline. She takes ingredients from the wilds and waters of the Scottish landscape, guided by what is available from farmers and fishermen, to create dishes showcasing her French-British cooking techniques with a passion for the best Scottish ingredients. 

This Supper Club gives guests the chance to experience Roberta’s cooking, perfectly matched with wine, in a unique setting .
