Guest mobility service
Located on Level B2 of the car park, our Guest Mobility service is free of charge with no deposit required. Ten of our disabled parking bays are located within the direct vicinity of Guest Mobility, with sixty additional bays available throughout the car park.
Once in the car park, guests should follow the signs for Guest Mobility. Although the service is based on Level B2, it can be delivered to any entrance within the destination if booked in advance.
The service is open Monday - Saturday 09:00-19:00, and Sunday 10:00-18:00.
Booking
We encourage all guests to use our online booking form below to book at least 24 hours before visiting. Guests can also use the WelcoMe app to book or phone the Guest Mobility team on 0131 290 1117.
During the booking process, guests will be asked to answer some questions. This allows our trained team to provide the most suitable equipment for each guest’s individual needs and ensures all guests with disabilities, visible or invisible, can relax in the knowledge that our team is aware of their visit.
Booking online allows you to see, in real time, what fleet is available for your specific hire period. Please remember to bring identification in the form of a full UK Driver’s Licence or Passport when collecting your equipment.
Guests with no advance booking should allow additional time to complete the necessary forms on arrival. Please be aware that this also means we cannot guarantee the specific item required will be available.
Our fleet
Our mobility fleet offers a range of mobility scooters, specialist bariatric scooters, powered wheelchairs, as well as devices for families including single and double push chairs. In addition, ancillary products such as walking sticks are available for purchase.
Our expert team will train all guests in the use of their equipment in a designated area. Please be aware that our team reserves the right to prevent use of equipment if users cannot demonstrate that they are able to manoeuvre safely around St James Quarter. This is to ensure the safety of the user and other guests, and we thank you for your understanding.
